EV Charger Installation
Level 2 home charging installed properly for drivers across the west Portland metro, with a load check first.
Charging at Home, Done Right
A new electric car is the most common reason a homeowner calls us for the first time. Level 1 charging on a standard outlet is slow. A Level 2 circuit charges overnight, and getting it installed correctly is the difference between a charger that works for a decade and one that nuisance-trips or runs hot.
Before we quote the install, we check whether your panel has the capacity for the new circuit. Many do. Some need a panel upgrade first, and we will tell you that plainly rather than overload a service that cannot take it.
What an EV Charger Install Includes
- A load check to confirm your panel can take the circuit.
- A dedicated 240 volt circuit sized to your charger.
- A hardwired charger or a NEMA 14-50 outlet, your choice.
- The permit pulled and the work inspected by the city.
- Clean routing in the garage, carport, or driveway.
Chargers We Install
Hardwired Level 2 chargers. A permanent install for Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint, Wallbox, and similar units, often with higher continuous output.
Plug-in chargers. A NEMA 14-50 outlet for a portable or plug-in charger if you want flexibility.
Two-car households. Circuits and panel capacity planned for a second charger now or later.
Certified Installer
We are a certified EV-charger installer, which means the manufacturers stand behind the install and the warranty holds. We do the work to code, pull the permit, and leave you with the documentation.
