Electrical Inspections
A clear, documented look at a home's electrical system for owners and buyers across the west Portland metro.
Know What You Are Working With
An electrical inspection answers a simple question: is this system safe and up to code, or is something hiding behind the walls. It matters most at two moments. When you are buying a home and want to know what you are taking on, and when an older system has you wondering whether it is still safe to rely on.
We walk the system end to end, from the service entrance and panel to outlets, grounding, and the wiring we can access. You get a documented report of what we find, sorted by what is urgent, what to plan for, and what is fine as is.
What an Inspection Covers
- The service entrance, meter, and main panel.
- Grounding, bonding, and overcurrent protection.
- Outlets, switches, and GFCI and AFCI coverage.
- Visible wiring, junctions, and known-problem brands.
- A written report you can act on or share.
When People Call Us
Buying a home. A focused electrical look beyond the general home inspection, so there are no surprises after closing.
Older homes. Knob-and-tube, aluminum branch wiring, and dated panels checked for safety and code.
Peace of mind. A safety check after a scare, a warm panel, or a string of nuisance trips.
Documented Findings
You leave the visit with a clear report, not a verbal maybe. If we find issues, we explain them and what it would take to fix them, with no pressure to have us do the work.
